During my Primary II semester, I revisited my 4th-grade classroom at Donegan Elementary School in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania two days a week. This semester required a lot more responsibility than just teaching lessons to my class. I was required to attend liaison meetings for professional development and create a school wide event with my peers. The school wide event we created was called, "Zen the Night," where we focused on teaching our students ways to cope with stress. Our students took part in taking pictures at the photo booth, Zumba, yoga, creating stress bottles, coloring mandalas, and visiting therapy dogs. Creating a school event was such a rewarding experience and we presented our work at a Celebration of Learning for our last day of the semester. I valued my Primary II semester due to how much I grew as an educator.
