During my Primary I semester, I was placed in a 4th grade classroom at Donegan Elementary School in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. I visited the classroom once a week on Wednesday to implement lesson plans and work with a case study student throughout my Spring 2019 semester. I taught a case study student various lessons to advance their reading comprehension skills. I taught whole-group lessons in Reading, Social Studies, and the Arts. During my time in Primary I, I also fulfilled special education requirements for my coursework. I enjoyed teaching lessons in my first classroom setting experience, and learned a lot from my host teacher.
